Indigenous People Designed Hydroelectric Power Plant



Two days ago, this author visited a community of indigenous people in connection with a research on valuing natural resources. He was amazed at what he saw. A simple but working hydroelectric power plant was built out of the ingenuity of a Pala'wan, one of the indigenous people of Palawan. Palawan is a province in the Philippines located at the western boundary of the country.
